Possibly. The patio, foundations, drainage and attachment conditions must be evaluated first.
Will a pergola keep rain out?+
A traditional open pergola provides filtered shade, not a waterproof roof. We can discuss shade systems or a covered patio if rain protection is the priority.
Can you add a pergola to an existing deck?+
Sometimes. The existing framing and foundations must be checked because the shade structure adds loads that should never be assumed.
